The Studio
This Agreement is entered into between Arillo Studio LLC, operating as The Studio ("The Studio") and the individual completing purchase or joining the waitlist ("Client"). Client may be the student or a parent/guardian booking on the student's behalf. By completing payment or authorizing payment to join the waitlist, Client agrees to the following terms.
The Admissions Narrative Audit is a holistic, asynchronous review of a student's college application materials — read in sequence, the way an admissions committee reads them. The review evaluates whether a coherent, compelling picture of the student emerges from the page, and delivers concrete strategic direction on where to strengthen that picture.
This is a narrative strategy review, not a proofreading or line-editing service. The Studio does not rewrite essays or produce new application content on the student's behalf.
The Audit Feedback: A written document delivering a holistic read of the student's materials — section by section — with a prioritized list of recommended next steps ordered by impact.
The Video Walkthrough: A screen-recorded video of approximately 20 minutes narrating the full review. No scheduling required.
Required:
- Common App personal statement (full draft or near-final prose — not a concept or outline)
- Activities list (all entries being used)
Optional:
- Supplemental essays, including "Why This School" essays (up to 5 drafts total)
- Portfolio or creative supplement (submitted as a link)
Materials do not need to be polished. Working drafts are expected. The Studio reviews whatever exists and flags what is missing or needs attention.
Client is responsible for submitting materials via the link provided in the booking confirmation email. All materials must be shared as Google Doc links set to "Anyone with the link can view."
The fee for The Admissions Narrative Audit is $650 (Founding Rate, available through Labor Day, September 7, 2026) or $750 (Standard Rate, beginning September 8, 2026). The applicable rate is the rate in effect on the date payment is collected.
When a slot is immediately available, payment is collected in full at the time of booking via Luma, at the rate then in effect.
When all slots are full, Client may join the waitlist at no cost. Joining the waitlist does not obligate Client to any payment. If a slot becomes available, The Studio will contact Client directly; Client may then choose to accept the slot and complete payment at the rate in effect at that time.
The 7-business-day turnaround begins upon submission of complete, accessible materials via the intake form. Incomplete or inaccessible submissions (e.g., broken links or restricted sharing permissions) will pause the clock until resolved; The Studio will notify Client of any issues within 1 business day of receiving the submission.
The Audit Feedback document and video will be delivered to the Client via email within 7 business days of confirmed submission. If The Studio fails to deliver within this window for reasons within The Studio's control, Client may elect either a full refund or an extended delivery timeline. The Studio will notify Client of any anticipated delay as soon as practicable.
Waitlist cancellation: Client may leave the waitlist at any time by replying to their waitlist confirmation email. No payment is ever collected for joining or remaining on the waitlist.
Full refund: Client may cancel after approval but before submitting materials via the intake form. Contact The Studio to request a refund before submitting.
No refund: Once materials have been submitted via the intake form, no refund is available, regardless of whether the review has begun.

A 30-minute live strategy call ($150) is available for purchase after delivery of the Audit Feedback. The Live Call is offered post-delivery only — it is not available at the time of booking.
The Live Call must be scheduled and completed within 30 days of purchase. The Studio is not responsible for calls not scheduled within this window. The Live Call fee is non-refundable once purchased.
Nothing in this Agreement constitutes a guarantee of admission to any college or university. The Studio makes no representation, expressed or implied, that the Audit will improve or affect admission outcomes. Admission decisions are made solely by the relevant institutions and are influenced by factors outside The Studio's knowledge or control. The Studio is not affiliated with any college or university. Client agrees not to hold The Studio liable for any admission result.
All student materials submitted for review are treated as confidential and used solely for the purpose of delivering the Audit. The Studio will not share, publish, or reference student materials without the Client's explicit written consent.
All student writing and application materials remain the sole intellectual property of the student. The Studio claims no ownership over any materials submitted for review.
The Studio may, with the Client's written consent, acknowledge that a client has used The Studio's services for general promotional purposes — without sharing identifying information or any portion of the Client's materials. This is opt-in only and is not a condition of service.
The Studio Guide reads all submitted materials carefully. If a student's writing suggests they may be experiencing significant personal distress, The Studio may reach out to the Client directly. If materials suggest a student may be in immediate danger or crisis, The Studio will contact the appropriate parties and, where required by law, the appropriate authorities.
The Studio's total liability for any claim arising from this service shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the Audit.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts of New Jersey.
If The Studio is unable to deliver the Audit due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond The Studio's reasonable control, The Studio will notify Client as soon as practicable and offer either a full refund or an extended delivery timeline at the Client's election.
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of this Agreement continue in full force and effect.
By completing payment or authorizing payment to join the waitlist, Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Agreement. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether written or oral.
